I design healthcare software. Referrals, diagnostics, bookings: the parts where one organisation hands work to another and usually drops it.
Based in Brisbane. I work at Magentus on Australian specialist practice software, mostly on the seams between practices, hospitals and labs. Before that, automated property management, which is where I first hit the question of when software should decide something and when it should stop and ask.
What interests me now sits underneath the screens. What the software counts as a piece of work. Who a promise was made to. What happens to a workspace when something other than a person starts doing the work in it.
The layout is Indexhibit, where my first portfolio lived years ago. I always liked the restraint of it. A sidebar, some type, nothing else. This is a rebuild in Next.js because the original is PHP and I wanted something I could extend.
